This Warranty is confined to first purchaser of the product only.
Warranty period is validated from date of the purchase of unit and can availed if the valid proof of purchase and warranty card is shown to Authorized Service Personnel at the time of repairs. Customers are therefore required to keep original invoice and warranty card safely. Repair or replacement will be carried out by company’s service Centre or its authorized services associates.
If in any case there is no service centre available or authorized Service Personnel nearby your place, then the customer will have to reach the product on registered company address and if sending the product through the courier, then customer is liable to pay courier charges.
For all units installed beyond the municipal limits of the company services centre/authorized service associate, the expenses incurred with regards to deputing the service personnel towards to & fro travel, conveyance and other incidentals will be borne by customer.
the warranty term shall in any case be restricted to 1 year.
5. Damage of any product or parts thereof due to any of the following causes will not be covered under this warranty.
a. User’s or agent’s misuse, negligence, accident or faulty installation.
b. Improper maintenance of the product.
c. Dirt, lime-scale or aggressive cleaning chemicals.
d. Unauthorized alteration to the products.
e. Normal wear & tear
The company and its authorized service centre reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the product during the warranty period.
Company may at its discretion replace the faulty part (s) with functionally new operative part (s).
In case of any damage to the product / customer abuse / repairs by un-authorized personnel / misuse detected / by the authorized service personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be subject to availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of ALTON alone. In case replacement of the entire unit is being made, (Subject to the sole discretion of ALTON), the same model shall be replaced in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of price equivalent at the time of purchase.
If any colored internal or external components are replaced, there will be no commitment to ensure that the shades match with the original or other components. The replaced shades, patterns, tints may vary from the customer’s unit due to continuous usage of the unit. Any matching components changed at customer’s request will be on chargeable basis except the components which actually needed.
While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it however is made expressly clear the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
This warranty shall not cover any consequential liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any damage in the ALTON products. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited or repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover demonstration / installation of the product purchased.
The warranty does not cover components like washer, Rubbers, Springs and other plastic items.
The warranty doesn’t cover any accessories external to the product. After completion on one year, in case/s other than manufacturing defects are found in ALTON products, standard labor and parts charges will be collected customers, as per prevailing rates of the company.
In case of any dispute, this warranty is subject to jurisdiction of Hisar, Haryana Courts only.
This warranty is not applicable in following cases:
Proof of purchase, invoice in Original and / or Warranty Card is not shown to company authorized service personnel at the time of repair. In such case service will still be rendered however it will be on chargeable basis as per the standard rates of labor and /or parts (as the case may be), prevailing at the point of time.
Repair work is carried out by person/agency other than the authorized company personnel or the product is not installed/used according to the instructions given in instruction / installation manual.
Defect caused by improper use, as determined by the authorized service personnel.
Defect is caused due to cause beyond control like lightning, act of god, abnormal water supply / pressure while in transit from dealer’s outlet to purchaser’s residence.
Damage to the product or any part/s due to transportation or shifting is not covered by warranty.
This warranty automatic terminate on the expiry of the warranty period even if the product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason. For ALTON products sold in India, only this warranty document is applicable and any reference to any other warranty document will not be considered. This is ALTON’s exclusive written warranty.
Customer Guidelines
To ensure uninterrupted pressure of water, it is advisable to keep the pipelines straight with minimum number of bends, which will support smooth flow of water.
All the supply lines must have vent pipes. These vent pipe help in removing air-locking in the water supply to give a smooth flow of water from the fitting.
Use 25 mm pipeline rather than 20 mm which will help in overcoming scaling inside the pipelines and will allow sufficient space to the water to flow.
Prior to plastering or fixing tiles, test the working of all installed concealed fittings on a high pressure to check for leakage for insert, if any.
Clean the aerators provided in the items at regular intervals for a perfect foam flow of water from the fittings.
Place the outlet point in the overhead tank at least 25 cm above the ground level of the tank. This prevents the flow of foreign particles, sand etc., along with water supply into the fittings and thereby prevents the possible damage to the working parts. Clean the tank thoroughly before the supply start. It is suggested that the overhead tank must be cleaned at regular intervals to avoid inflow of foreign particles.
Clean the fittings regularly with normal soap or chalk powder to remove scaling or stains. Do not use strong detergents as this may cause damage to the chromium finish used on all products.
to protect the fine finish of fittings from dirt. Stains and other damage during construction, cover them with cloth or poly pack after their installation, till they come to actual use.
It is suggested that center to center to distance from hot & cold inlet for all types of wall mounted wall mixtures should be maintained at 150+-10 mm where any of our wall mixers from different ranges can be easily installed without any problem.
Buy ALTON products from company’s authorized dealer’s only to ensure genuine quality material.
Insist on genuine spares from company’s local service center or its authorized stockiest in case any repair or replacement.
